Programs

Work we are Doing

Some programs are active. The rest are in development and we will say so plainly until they are not.

Education and lifelong learning

History and culture classes, emergency preparedness, CPR and first aid, leadership, financial literacy, gardening and homesteading. Some free, some tuition based, all open to anyone.

Community events and celebrations

Markets, community dinners, seasonal celebrations and public gatherings. Open to the whole neighborhood, no membership required.

Arts, history and cultural preservation

Blacksmithing, leatherwork, textiles, art and traditional craft. Skills stay alive by being taught, so we teach them.

Veteran and family support

Resource events, benefits navigation help, peer connection and family programming. Built with veterans, not for them.

In development

Coming as the Center Grows.

These need space, staff or both.

Interfaith and spiritual community

Youth and family activities

Community outreach and volunteerism

Meeting and collaboration space

Know something worth teaching?

Most of our classes exist because somebody offered. If you have a skill and a few hours, we will find you a room.
